Remember GX: King Pan
One of the central activities of Pan Wang Festival is to Worship King Pan. In one location named Zulaozhai, an altar is set up and the statues of gods are hung. The largest one in the center is the statue of King Pan, and the statues of several false gods of heaven and earth (Zhenwu, Gong Cao, Tian Gong, and Dimu) are on the left and right. When the sacrificial ceremony begins, fire-shooting guns are fired three times and firecrackers are set off. In the sound of firecrackers, the elders of Zulaozhai offer pig heads, glutinous rice cakes, chicken, alcohol, and other sacrifices and place them in front of the statue. People bow their heads and pray silently in front of the statue, expressing remembrance and admiration to King Pan.
