Remember GX: Fear

Although the Chinese educational system upholds atheism, many retain a fear of ghosts and evil powers. They seek all sorts of priests and even Christian pastors to expel evil when disaster strikes. During the Ghost Festival, they will burn incense not only to their own ancestors but also to ghosts without any family to honor them, in an attempt to prevent these stray ghosts from wreaking havoc.
