Remember GX: Mommas

Shout out to all the mommas and momma-figures this weekend!

Golden Girl and Big Sis are two local spiritual mother-figures that have teamed up to share good news with GX college students. Golden Girl, while in college, was struck by how many people groups in China had little access to the good news (UPGs). She hasn’t stopped serving them since, for 20+ years! Big Sis has shared good news, raised up, and planted groups among college students throughout the country. Father called her to move to GX and do the same here. Our Master Planner has not forgotten GX and is sending laborers into the harvest here.

Pray for open doors, boldness, and a filling of the Spirit for these spiritual mommas. Pray for prepared hearts, salvation, and persevering faith among college students in GX.

Sunday is Mother’s Day so what better to think through than rebellion and the earth swallowing families whole! Numbers 16:1-40 is our text and Jesus is our hope. Join us for worship at 10 am. 2437 S Centre City PKWY in Escondido.

West Coast Regional | Advance, our church network is hosting a regional conference and Andrew Wilson is the key speaker. Everyone is invited to a free session on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:30 pm at Southlands Brea, 2950 E. Imperial Hwy., Brea. 

Andrew is a pastor at King’s Church London and has degrees in history and theology from Cambridge (MA) and King’s College London (PhD). Andrew is married to Rachel and they have three kids. He is the author of several award-winning books, most recently God of All Things, and has a keen ability to teach deep biblical truth with great joy and wise pastoral application.
